Generative data-art
Aurora Ledger.
No dashboard, no chart — just light. Every ribbon overhead is drawn live from the real XRP Ledger: its color temperature, its speed, its brightness all answer directly to the real activity moving beneath it.
That shimmering tone is a live synthesizer, not a recording. Five sine-wave voices — one for every hue band in the ribbons — hold a C Lydian scale, the same warm, floating scale film composers reach for behind their dreamiest tones. Each time the real ledger closes, the voices glide to a new pitch and swell or fade in volume together, so the chord tracks the network's own rhythm: quick closes brighten and quicken it, calmer stretches let it settle.

Real data, no fabrication: every visual parameter above is driven by the live XRP Ledger feed from the same backend powering the main monitor — ledger close events and qualifying whale payments arrive via the public XRPL WebSocket API (xrplcluster.com). Whale strands mark real payments ≥ 50,000 XRP or $50,000 in a verified stablecoin — RLUSD (Ripple) or USDC (Circle). No motion, color, or brightness value on this page is randomly generated to simulate data — see the mapping comment at the top of aurora.js for the exact field-to-visual mapping. Ambient background stars are the only purely decorative element and are never presented as data.
