XRP's smallest unit is called a drop — one million to a single XRP. Here, every real payment above the whale threshold drifts into view as a bioluminescent organism, the way deep-sea creatures glow when the water around them moves. No two pulses are staged: each one is a real Payment transaction, pulled live from the XRP Ledger.
Every whale call is a real NOAA/NPS hydrophone recording, played in full.

Real data, no fabrication: every glowing pulse is a real Payment transaction observed on the live XRP Ledger via the public XRPL WebSocket API (xrplcluster.com), the same feed powering the main monitor. The threshold is 50,000 XRP or $50,000 in a verified stablecoin — RLUSD (Ripple) or USDC (Circle) — both independently confirmed live on XRPL by their issuers. Addresses, amounts, and transaction hashes are real and link out to XRPScan. Ledger pulse and ledger index come from the same live ledger stream as the main monitor. Nothing on this page is simulated, staged, or fabricated — if the reef looks empty, it's because no qualifying whale has moved since load.
